The
Model 7893D C-band bandpass filter is installed between
the feedhorn and the LNB (or LNA) to suppress strong out-of-band
interference caused by marine or airport radar systems. Coastal
and marine navigational radar frequencies (2.9-3.65) GHz just
below the C-band, frequently wipe-out transponders (1-5) on satellite
dishes installed near harbors. While airport altimeter signals
(4.25-4.40) GHz tend to affect transponders (22-24) at receive
sites located near airports.

The Model
7893D-3400/4200
|
Extended
C-Band Filter is
an "International" version of our model 7893D bandpass
filter. This "extended" C-band bandpass filter can be
used globally, where there is access to the wider [ 3.4 - 4.2
] GHz satellite band, and like the 7893D, this filter offers super-selectivity
by virtually eliminating all out-of-band interference - such as
military radar. It is available to ship quickly.

The Model 11383
|
| Extended
C-band Filter is another one of our "International"
C-band bandpass filters, which operates over the [ 3.6 - 4.2 ]
GHz satellite band. This filter also offers super-selectivity
by virtually eliminating all out-of-band interference - including
military radar. It is available to ship quickly.

13961 Series
The
Model 13961
is a lightweight,
low-profile C-band bandpass filter and is ideal for multifeed
applications requiring side-by-side placement of filters (adequate
radome clearance is required). This unit virtually eliminates
interference caused by navigational communications (radar) of
commercial and military aircraft, as well as coastal and marine
vessels operating at frequencies above and below the C-band. Since
this filter operates at the C-band frequencies LNB (or LNA) saturation
from these strong out-of-band signals is avoided. |
