Some of the notch
and highpass filters found in this section are widely used to
prevent “off-air” antenna saturation of interfering
FM, Citizen Band, Ham or mobile radio transmitters.
Many of the lowpass filters are used as inexpensive solutions
in “freeing up” upper band channels in private (or
commercial) cable, satellite or off-air TV systems requiring
the re-insertion of other information, such as alternate programming
or security cameras. |
