New Digital
Single Channel
Elimination Filter for CATV
|
Regarded as a leading
manufacturer of channel elimination filters for over three decades,
MFC continues to evolve its product line to meet the CATV industry's
ever-changing technological demands.
|
|
Originally, channel elimination filters were designed to remove
an analog program from a CATV channel for the purpose of reinserting
an alternate source of analog programming with minimal effect on
adjacent channels ……. and our C.E.F.'s were (and still
are) renowned for doing just that.
Today, CATV systems provide both analog and digital programming
and since a digital program requires more effective bandwidth utilization
than an analog program the result is less spacing between adjacent
channels.
Consequently, analog elimination filters are just not selective
enough to suppress those wider digital bandwidths without severely
degrading the adjacent channels. So in order to meet today's digital
applications, MFC is proud to introduce it's new digital, single
channel elimination filter…….the model 15690-(ch.).
This filter will provide full digital channel elimination for the
reinsertion of new digital (or analog) programming with minimal
effect on adjacent channels (digital or analog). The model 15690-(ch.)
is available for any single CATV channel from chs. ( 2 - 158 ) and
is ready to mount on a wall, table or in a rack console.
