Microwave Filter Company’s HPL series high power lowpass
filter is a compact, high quality device with a variety
of applications. Low insertion loss and high power rating make
it ideal for transmitter outputs. The wide rejection band protects
receiver front-ends from co-located high power transmission
equipment. The broad, flat passband and low VSWR is an excellent
environment for all digital formats.
The HPL series is
built to last. Connectors are MIL-C-39012. The container is
constructed of sturdy, nickel plated brass. All seams and potential
signal egress points are sealed with conductive, silver bearing
epoxy. Internal mechanical fastening ensures that each unit
will operate to specification, particularly in rough, vehicular
environments. Low profile and lightweight, the HPL series can
also be weatherized for outdoor mounting and operation.
All HPL series lowpass
filters are subjected to rigorous quality standards. After tuning
each unit to specification, the filters are subjected to both
RF power and Hi-Pot testing. Automated environmental testing
such as thermal shock and vibration are followed by 100% electrical
and mechanical inspection.
